About

My name is Ashley, and my family moved to the island of Crete in Greece in May 2024! It started out as a dream (for me, my husband says it was a given) after our first visit to Greece in 2018. It’s been a process that felt both too long and too short, but after a year and a so of hard work, we are here. I’m excited to share what sort of shenanigans I’m getting up to with you all!

Who am I?

I’m in my mid to late (ok, fine, late) 30s. My core family consists of my husband Joshua and our son Felix, who moved here with us, as well as our dog BMO and our cat Bowie. My husband owns his own software development company with his best friend, and I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

I love reading (current obsession is romance, specifically smutty romance), traveling, house plants, gardening, cooking, baking, animals, sewing, yoga, the beach, dancing, going on wacky adventures, showing off my butt, and, most importantly, taking naps! Probably more stuff too, but whatevs.

I was working as a hotel guest services agent (front desk) before we moved, and I absolutely loved it. I also ran my own etsy shop selling handmade wallets, bags, and quilted items. I was thriving in a burlesque company in Denver, and am currently hoping to find a place in Europe to twirl my tassels!
